Who We Support

Every month we seek to uplift the work of long-standing, community-centered, radical change agents making the world a better place, like those below. We donate 50% of all our earnings.

Women’s Resource Center

“ If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.” — Desmond Tutu

The atrocities of war are infinite. On September 27, 2020, Azerbaijan launched a six week offensive against Nagorno-Karabakh leading to the displacement of over half of the population during a global pandemic. International humanitarian law was violated and the conscious of the world was silent. History shows that women and girls disproportionately bear the burden of conflict— their voices not heard, their needs not adequately met, and gender inequality perpetuated. The Women’s Resource Center stand at the frontline of the fight for equality and recovery in the face of war and surging COVID-19 cases. As global citizens, we honor International Genocide Commemoration & Prevention Day (Dec.9) and stand in solidarity with the Armenian struggle- then and now. Your donation will contribute directly to the humanitarian response led by women leaders in Armenia. (GR/H Donations (as of Dec 31, 2020) = $580)

Alliance for Youth Action

The Alliance for Youth Action grows progressive people power across America by empowering local young people’s organizations to strengthen our democracy, fix our economy, and correct injustices through on-the-ground organizing. They are committed to a world where democracy works for everyone and where all people – no matter where they come from, what they look like, or how they identify – live in loving, safe, and thriving communities.

Your donations contributed to their 2020 action plan to register voters (targeting the presidential election), train and mobilize young people, increase access to polling places, fight for progressive legislation and fight back against oppressive legislation. (GR/H Donations (as of October 11, 2020) = $320)

Black Lives Matter

BLM, founded by three Black women in 2013, is now a member-led global network of more than 40 chapters.

BLM is commitment to placing those at the margins closer to the center. The movement has grown to be an ideological and political intervention in a world where Black lives are systematically and intentionally targeted and dehumanized. The movement aims to affirm a shared humanity, recognize the critical contributions of Black people to this society, and embrace resilience in the face of deadly oppression.

Rise up. Be heard. Stand in solidarity in the fight for freedom, liberation and justice!  The time is now. (GR/H Donations (as of September 6, 2020) = $433)

Black Mammas Matter Alliance

BMMA envision a world where Black mamas have the rights, respect, and resources to thrive before, during, and after pregnancy.

Today, Black mothers are 4x more likely to die in childbirth as compared with White women. Data consistently reveals maternal mortality linked with unequal quality of care for Women of Color throughout pregnancy (especially prenatally), institutional racism within society and the health system, as well as the increased predisposition to certain health conditions.

The struggle for justice and equality begins at birth. (GR/H Donations (as of September 6, 2020) = $433)

Breonna Taylor

Breonna Taylor was fatally shot at 26-year-old by Louisville Metro Police Department officers on March 13, 2020. She was sleeping after four overnight shifts at the hospital where she worked as an emergency room technician. The police knocked open the door unannounced and began firing blindly. Breonna was shot 5 times while sleeping and bled her death on the floor. The police officers have not been charged for her murder. This is one of many examples of racial injustice and police brutality against Black communities.

We stand in solidarity with the family of Breonna Taylor, #sayhername and #sayeveryname that remember and fight for all those whose lives have been unjustly taken by institutionalized racism. (GR/H Donations (as of September 6, 2020) = $600)
